| Owner, owner, owner. Find a car with 1 or 2 previous owners max. Make sure the last owner has had the car for a few years and has not let it go. Get the service records. This sounds hoaky, but check out his house and/or his garage. Z's need proper care are but are meand to be driven (beware of 'babied' cars, a healthy Z gets a good workout now and then) and you want to be sure the car is up to the task if you plan to upgrade. I've seen guys here with up to 200k on stock turbos and I've seen guys with bad turbos at 60k. Its either a crap shoot or it depends on owner care. There have been no scientific tests performed that I know of. Good luck, I hope you find a good one...
